NPF MON: NPF Mon Divisional unit has welcomed Achung, Chief Angh of Chi village and C. Mankai Konyak (Cover) candidate of CLP leaders to Chingwang Konyak MLA of 46 A/C Mon town, who resigned from INC party both from active and primary member along with their supporters to strengthen and vote for the intending DAN consensus candidate C. M. Chang in the Lok Sabha poll. Meanwhile, NPF Mon divisional unit president K. Thingthok Konyak and DAN alliance convener W. Gopang Konyak facilitated 42 A/C Wakching party workers of RJD and INC in a meeting held on April 6. NEITONG VILLAGE: Altogether 25 household of congress party of Neitong village headed by general secretary VCC (I) Wangnyim, joint secretary VCC (I) Ashah, youth president Ajon, vice president Wangjoak and Wangtoh Wangsupa resigned from congress and joined NPF to support the candidature of NPF candidate T. Aloh Wangham under CM Neiphiu Rio. 41 Tizit A/C: Electorates from NPF, Congress and BJP have resigned and decided to support Peiwang Konyak RJD candidate for 41 Tizit Assembly by-polls. In a statement Tali Pongener, secretary general RJD Nagaland Unit said that 87 household in Lapa Lampong under 41 Tizit A/C led by Tongmei adviser, Khamhi GB, Manlao adviser youth, Yangmao vice president, T. Khampei, banker, Nyamphong finance secretary and Konang active member resigned from NPF and joined RJD to support Peiwang and work under the leadership of Khetovi Kinny, president RJD Nagaland Unit. Another 20 household from Wangla village led by Khatwang , NPF Mission and Yiangying , youth leader belonging to NPF also resigned and joined RJD, 20 household from Neitong village led by Nokkhah resigned from Congress and joined RJD,13 household from Old Sanpsha belonging to NPF also resigned and joined RJD, 6 household from Sakho village led by BJP’s Adon K also joined RJD, Further Daniel from Congress and Manlao from NPF from Loakom village resigned from their parties and also joined the RJD. TVC: Tzurangkong Village Council (TVC) consisting of 8 villages under 30 Alongtaki Assembly constituency have unanimously resolved and declared to support DAN consensus candidate C.M. Chang for the forthcoming parliamentary election. Further it stated that the entire village council within Tzurangkong Range have pledged to support the leadership of Parliamentary Secretary Er. T. Saku Aier in order to strengten the dynamic leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and party President Dr. Shurhozelie Legesie. Mpai Congress Unit president: The Mpai Congress Unit President Kiesongbui has tendered his resignation from INC to join NCP under the leadership of Neiba Ndang who he said has future vision for all round development of rural area of Peren district. In a released statement, he called upon all right thinking people to vote for DAN consensus candidate C.M. Chang in the ensuing Lok Sabha election. DC MKg informs: Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) Mokokchung has convened a meeting of sector officers on April 13, 1 pm at DC conference hall. R. Mhathung, assistant election officer Mokochung has requested all the sector officers to attend the meeting.
