DACST, KUDA, CSUD condemns kidnap

DACST: Dimapur Area Chuchuyimlang Senso Telongjem, (DACST) Dimapur has condemned the abduction of one innocent student Imnaonen of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on April 8. A press release issued by DACST president Kika Pongen and Secretary R. Wati Jamir appealed that authority should award befitting punishment to the kidnappers, who are under police custody. Meanwhile, the union has lauded the timely action of the police department, DNSU, ASTD and Don Bosco School authority for rescuing Imnaonen. KUDA (NAGARJAN) ‘B’: Kuda (Nagarjan) ‘B’ has condemned the April 8 incident in connection with a kidnap case of a school boy. The village council in a release issued by Kuda (Nagarjan) ‘B’ T. Liegise, GB termed the arrest of 3 persons namely, Banuo Angami, Akhrie Angami and Bovika Sumi at Nagarjan ‘B’ as shocking and strongly condemned their intention, terming it anti-Naga culture and civilized world. The council further stated, any contention among parties should be settled through democratic and accepted norms and practice and not through unlawful means. CSUD: Chuchuyimlang Students’ Union Dimapur (CSUD) has condemned the abduction of one of its members Imnaonen from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School on April 8. The union in a release while condemning the act, urged the responsible authorities to take appropriate action against the culprits. CSUD further expressed gratitude to Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU), Ao Students’ Union Dimapur (ASUD) and Dimapur Nagaland Police for extending support and timely action.
