RJD 57 A/C THONO-KNYU: RJD party of 57 A/C Thonoknyu has resigned and joined the NPF lead by P. Khuming vice president, Mono, vice president youth wing village unit, Shangjio general secretary village unit, P. Petsi general secretary village unit, S. K Langshe president village unit, and advisor C. Pushou. According to M. Tsangou president NPF 57 A/C Thonoknyu, the unit welcomed the RJD office bearers for their wise decision to strengthen the NPF party. 53 A/C CONGRESS YOUTH WING: Tuensang Sardar I 53 A/C Congress youth wing office bearers have resigned from the party and joined the NPF to strengthen the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, party president Dr. Shürhozelie, L. Elam Chang former candidate and DAN consensus candidate CM Chang. The list of office bearers who resigned include S. Shingnyu president Seva Dal, S Neochi vice president youth wing, S. Younga general secretary Seva Dal, Ben joint secretary Seva Dal, and T. Shellim corresponding secretary youth wing. 45 TEHOK A/C MON: five Congress workers under 45 Tehok A/C Mon have resigned from the congress to support the NPF party. The members who resigned included Kamnyei V/V chairman Chingha village along with 48 houses, Akuh assistant general secretary ACC (I) 45 A/C Chingkao village along with 14 household, Manwo ex-chairman village council Chaoha Chingnyu village along with 25 household, Chinkon GB Chaoha Chingnyu village along with 30 houses,and Manthrong VCC (I) president Chenwetnyu village. 5 GHASPANI II A/C: Altogether 17 villages under 5 Ghaspani –II A/C have resolved to support and vote for DAN consensus candidate CM Chang and to further strengthen the hands of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and party president Dr. Shürhozelie. 44 A/C POMCHING: After noticing the tremendous development carried out by chief minister Neiphiu Rio, 15 households of Longwa village led by Methlang Wangnao have resigned from the Congress and joined the NPF party in favour of W. Wanpai K, NPF candidate 44 A/C. BHUMPAK VILLAGE COUNCIL: Bhumpak village council of under 51 A/C Noksen Tuensang district have unanimously resolved to support DAN consensus candidate CM Chang. B. Chongsi council chairman and N. Chingmak head GB stated that the decision was made in order to strengthen the DAN government in the state. 20 A/C MELURI: Hüvepa joint secretary Tizu area Congress committee, Vesato VCC (I) president, Thisayi head GB, Nühüsa VCM, and Vechita village secretary have reisgned from both active and primary membership of the Congress party and joined the NPF to support the DAN consensus candidate CM Chang, at the same time strengthen the hands of parliamentary secretary Yitachu. 38 ALONGTAKI AC: Yajang ‘B’ Village council and committee under 38 Alongtaki AC has unanimously resolved on April 11 to support DAN’s consensus candidate, CM Chang in order to strengthen the dynamic leadership chief minister Neiphiu Rio. MORE SUPPORT K. THERIE: Enhulumi village unit NPF secretary Lhionyi Puro, treasurer Krolhi Mero and chairman (Youth Wing) Yetshuzü Rose have resigned from membership and all posts and positions and have decided to join Indian National Congress party to support and strengthen K. Therie’s position. TSÜFÜME CONGRESS UNIT DISSOLVES: Tsüfüme Congress Unit has dissolved en masse to extend its support to the NPF Candidate for 17 A/C Chizami, Deo Nukhu in the forthcoming bye-election. Stating this in a press release, Sapunyi Zholia, Press Secretary for NPF, 17 A/C Chizami said that the leaders who joined NPF from Tsüfüme village are Zavilhu, Congress Unit President, Phure, Secretary and Danyi, Treasurer along with all the party workers. It further clarified that Israel Lasuh, joint secretary, Congress as stated by the Congress party in the local dailies earlier was still with NPF and not as stated. NPF Chizami has also expelled Lhionyi Puro, secretary, Krolhi Mero, treasurer and Yetshüzü Rose, youth wing chairman, all three from Enhulumi village for anti-party activities. Meanwhile, it has condemned the Congress party for campaigning in the village by bringing V Naranayaswamy, Secretary AICC on the occasion of Good Friday terming it as violating the sanctity of the Christian festival. NPF KOHIMA DIVISION: Medochünuo ex-Mahila president DCCI and her followers have resigned from the Congress from both active and primary membership to join the NPF. The members also resolved to support Kiyaneilie Peseyie, Speaker, Nagaland and to vote for the DAN consensus candidate CM Chang for the lone Lok Sabha election, and to support Neiphiu Rio, Dr. Shürhozelie. YESUKHA CHISHI: GB of Toshiho village under 5 Ghaspani II A/C, Yesukha Chishi has condemned the news item which appeared on April 7 issued regarding Nihokhu area GBs supporting DAN government and DAN consensus candidate CM Chang as totally false and baseless. Yesukha Chishi in a release stated being a staunch supporter of MLA Hollohon, he would vote for K. Asungba Sangtam INC candidate who is a man of charisma, a statesman and a capable, efficient leader. SKKK: Seithekema Khenu Krüta Kehnou (SKKK), which covers four village- Seithekema old, A, C and Basa has declared to support NPF led DAN consensus candidate, C.M Chang in the ensuing Lok Sabha election. GB’S SHAKI: A joint meeting between NCP Shaki Unit and GB’s of Shaki Village was held on April 12 at the residence of its president NCP Shaki Unit Supenthung Tsopoe. During the meet the GBs present agreed to support the DAN consensus candidate CM Chang in the ensuing 15th Lok Sabha election. The following GB’s who gave their support included Vanpvu Tsopoe head GB, Yanachamo Ngullie GB, Rapemo Khuvung GB, Nripemo Khuvung GB, L. Thungcho Tsopoe GB, Thungyamo Khuvung GB, Lenthio Khuvung GB. The GB’s also falicitated minister for agriculture Dr. Chumben Murry for his selfless and dedicated service towards the village in particular and the constituency in general. TEHEPU VILLAGE COUCIL: Tehepu village council and village unit NPF party has appreciated parliamentary secretary Yitachu under the dynamic leadership of Neiphiu Rio and further resolved to support the DAN consensus candidate CM Chang and Yitachu for the development in the village. The village council and unit also appreciated SDO (Mechanical) Vitsozol for allotting bulldozer during the construction of playground. 56 A/C NOKLAK: 56 A/C Noklak has welcomed BJP workers to its fold for joining the Congress through ACCC for the betterment of the party and the public of the area. This was stated in a release issued by president ACCC 56 A/C Noklak BJP 56 A/C NOKLAK: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 56 A/C Noklak held an emergency meeting on April 11 led by B. Ngon ex-candidate BJP and K. Khamo vice president ST (Morcha) Nagaland. After a prolonged discussion, the house unanimously decided to resign en-mass from the party and join the Congress under the leadership of KV Pusa, Chingwang Konyak, P. Chuba Chang due to “step motherly” treatment meted out by the alliance partner under 56 A/C Noklak. NPF 21- TULI A/C: Mem-bers from various political parties have pledged to support the NPF party Tuli under the leadership of N. Temjen Jamir, MLA 21-Tuli A/C. The lists of names included Sariangen, DCCI joint secretary Merangkong, Nukshitoshi AYCC joint secretary Tuli, 21 members from 18-21 Mile Tuli, 15 from Patizung ward Tuli, and 17 from Lokongmendang ward Tuli. NEW JABOKA VILLAGE: Having completely lost faith on the present leadership of NPCC, 22 persons and households under New Jaboka village under the leadership of T. Zenwang Wangham deputy Angh and Hamon council chairman on their own free will decided to resign from both active and primary membership of the Congress party and support the NPF party and T. Aloh Wangham, NPF candidate for 41 Tizit A/C and DAN consesnsus candidate CM Chang during the by-election and parliamentary election. OLD JABOKA VILLAGE: 38 persons including households have resigned from both active and primary membership of the NPCC and pledged support to the NPF party and T. Aloh Wangham, NPF candidate for 41 Tizit A/C from Old Jaboka Village under the leadership of T. Zenwang Wangham deputy Angh and Hamon council chairman. CHUMUKEDIMA TOWN COUNCIL: NPF councilors, Chumukedima Town Council and president and colleagues NPF party Chumukedima area unit has warmly welcomed Zuthavi Achumi, GB ward no 1, Neikiezo GB ward no 3, Thepfuroko GB ward no 4, Ketsozhu Sale GB ward no 6, Chumzamo Tsopoe GB ward no 7, Akang Ao GB ward no 10 and Alezo Kuotsu Chumukedima village GB to support the DAN consensus candidate CM Chang in the ensuing Lok Sabha election under the dynamic leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio, party president Dr. Shürhozelie, and MP Rajya Sabha H. Khekiho Zhimomi. 13 A/C PUGHOBOTO: Hukato, Independent party chairman and Akaho party secretary with 20 household from Khughutomi village; Tito, Independent party secretary along with 12 household and 7 members of NPF youth led by Hoito from Chisholimi village; Lashito, Independent party along with his follower from Hebolimi illage hasve joined the Congress in support of Joshua Sumi, MLA of 13 A.C Pughoboto to support Asungba Sangtam in the forthcoming Lok aSabha election. NPF 41 Tizit A/C: Large number of supporters from the NPF have resigned and decided to support Peiwang Konyak RJD candidate for 41 Tizit Assembly by-polls. In a statement Essak Hessum, ex RJD candidate said that 11 household from Old Jaoka village under 41 Tizit A/C led by Wangyei resigned from NPF and joined RJD to support Peiwang. Further three household from Nokyan village led by Chokwan GB from NPF also resigned and joined RJD and another two household led by Botai resigned to joined the RJD. Mimi Range Council: Mimi Range Council had a meeting on April 9, attended by representatives from all the eight villages including political leaders. The range in the meeting resolved to unanimously support the DAN candidature C. M Chang in the coming parliamentary election and will fully cooperate with the DAN under leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, according to a release from Rutrungki, chairman and Musole, general secretary, Mimi Range Council.
