The NPF 56th A/C Noklak has strongly denied the claim of BJP 56th A/C Noklak that appeared in a section of the newspapers that BJP led by A. Ngon ,ex candidate and K. Khamo, Vice President ST(Morcha) Nagaland joined the INC.
In a statement, Peshing, President NPF 56th A/C Noklak rubbished the claim and stated that A. Ngon, ex candidate and K. Khamo were habitual defectors from one party to other and their joining INC would not have any impact.
NPF 56th A/C Noklak President Mr. Peshing also said that in the last assembly elections
A. Ngon first sought Congress ticket, later RJD and finally had to contest on BJP ticket and was defeated in the elections by the present Minister for Land Resources Development and Soil and water conservation P. Longon from the 56th Noklak A/C.
Peshing also said the habitual defector come and go to one party to another party, so their joining Congress doesn’t dampen the NPF position in assembly constituency, rather it boosted the NPF.
The NPF 56th A/C Noklak is fully intact and will continue to work under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, President NPF and P. Longon Minister for Land Resources Development and Soil and Water conservation; also to support DAN consensus candidate CM Chang in the ensuing Parliamentary election.
