As part of the ongoing demand to mete justice and bring all those responsible in the recent answer script swap scam in the NPSC to book, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has appealed the government to institute an independent judiciary inquiry commission for total probe into scam. NSF president, Imchatoba Imchen and general secretary, Hetoi Chishi in a representation addressed to state chief minister Neiphiu Rio, asserted that the recent “scam” was the chance to act together and cleanse the prevalent corruptive trends. The federation while urging the government to institute an “independent judiciary inquiry commission” for total probe to the recent NPSC scam also demanded that the report be submitted and made public within 40 days’ time. The NSF also demanded that the government to immediately terminate the services of NPSC officials found guilty in the recent scam. It also demanded that the recommendations of the High Power Committee submitted and approved by state government for “total revamping on NPSC” be immediately implemented in toto.
