Reliance prepaid GPRS, BlackBerry connect services in NE

There is good news for Reliance Telecom PrePaid customers in Assam NE service area. RTL, which has recently launched GPRS service in the area, is offering UNLIMITED Internet surfing to customers who e-recharge with Rs 81 GPRS PACK. While the surfing is free, the customer may have to pay if he downloads depending on the websites visited. Prior to recharging with this pack, a customer has to ensure that his handset is GPRS enabled. This pack is available at all E –retailer outlets in Assam and North East. GPRS facility was always available in the Post Paid segment for Reliance customers. Customers could enjoy unlimited access at just Rs 249 per month. Over 7000 customers are already enjoying this service. With GPRS facility, a mobile customer can access the Internet while on the move. Another very interesting service that has been unveiled recently is the BlackBerry Connect. This is the extension of the existing BlackBerry Internet service. Earlier while customers had to purchase a BlackBerry handset in order to access BB internet service, this is no more mandatory. Customers having high end Nokia or Sony Ericsson handset will also be able to access the internet Service. Of course, customers need to check the handset compatibility prior to subscribing to this service. Under this service, a customer will be online with his mail system and will be connected on a real time basis. The service also enables him to configure 10 email ids (such as Yahoo, Gmail, Rediffmail etc) on which he can send or receive mails. This service is extremely helpful for busy executives who have to carry a lap top otherwise for exchanging mails. The service is available only for postpaid customers. Reliance GSM service offers the best value for money proposition. The tariff rates are attractive with local calls at 19 paisa per minute and STD at 99 paisa. The company also offers 4 New Postpaid Plans with rentals low as Rs 99/ month and call rates of 19 paisa. Other plans are at a rental of Rs 149, Rs 249 and Rs 349 which provide excellent benefits to the customers. In the prepaid segment, Reliance GSM service has come up with an attractive top-up promo offer. The three new top ups namely 125, 225 and 325 are giving full value talktime ie Rs125, Rs225 and Rs325 respectively. Besides the later two are giving free RTL to RTL calls too. The current starter pack of Rs 50, which gives value for money to the customers in terms of attractive call rates and talk time. The 100 RCV with a 90-day validity has already become popular. The company is also offering a Mahavalidity (valid for 90 days) connection with Nokia 1650, 1203, 2600, 1209 models. The models have been made available in all the Nokia outlets along with the offer. Reliance Telecom (RTL) also offers a rich bouquet of value added services. Customers can download CALLER tunes to make their ring-back tone musical for as low as Rs15 per song by dialing 51234567. There is a host of other Value Added Services like mobile radio, background music, news; cricket and astrology are also available for customer delight.
