Ind candidate appeals to public DIMAPUR: Ex- independent candidate from 22- Arkakong A/C O. Lanutoshi has appealed to the people of his constituency to vote in favor of NPF-led DAN coalition candidate C.M Chang contesting candidate for the lone Lok Sabha seat in the state. The ex-candidate has also said that DAN government headed by state Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio was seriously undertaking for restoration of lasting peace and unity among Naga brothers to pave way for final solution and to solve problems and issues prevailing in the state. Asangba to campaign at Tseminyu DIMAPUR: MP candidate Asangba Sangtam will be campaigning at Tseminyu on March 30 at 10 am at Town Hall Tseminyu. A press release jointly issued by ACCC 12 Tseminyu Press Secretary, Anilo Sep and President, Khillo Sep have requested all ACCC office bearers, AYC, Mahila, Seva Dal, executive members, village unit presidents, office bearers and party workers to attend the programme. Public rally organized at Chizami DIMAPUR: A Public rally was organized at Local Ground, Chizami on March 25 by DCC Phek district. According to a press release issued by the Publicity Cell, 17th Chizami ACC, a total of 299 household from the constituency have committed to extend their support to K. Therie, INC candidate, 17th Chizami A/C for the ensuing By Election in the State. GBs meet Neiphiu Rio DIMAPUR: A delegation of Akuluto GBs’ Union, GB Khutovi, Chairman, GB Nihoto, Secretary, Yohukhu, GB, Inato, GB and Vikheto, senior member met State chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, on March 20 at his private residence and also a host of veterans from Akuluto including K. Kakheto, former Minister, Dr. Kanito, former Advisor to CM (NL) along with other public leaders. Rio while interacting with the GBS expressed rich ideas and future course of Naga political destiny. Akuluto GBs’ union in a press release issued by its Chairman, Khutovi, has assured its support to DAN candidature, C. M Chang for the Lok Sabha seat in the ensuing parliamentary election and also appreciated the CM’s leadership quality of trustworthy, dynamic political vision and for his agility with orientated nature. NPF 3 Dmu-III A/C new team DIMAPUR: In a consultative meeting of 3 political parties including NPF, RJD and Congress 3-Dimapur-III A/C (parent body) Padumpukhuri unit comprising of 7 villages elected a new team of office bearers of NPF with Vitoka Katty as President and H. Kavi Zhimo as General Secretary. Meanwhile, NPF youth wing 3 Dimapur-III A/C has also elected a new team of office bearers with K.Hokuto Murumi as President, Semato Zhimomi as General Secretary (adm) and Kiheshe Chishi as General Secretary (Org). NPF Peren unit meet held Dimapur: Peren division NPF in a meeting held on March 24 at the residence of Dennis Elung, President Peren division NPF Jalukie for adoption of the reorganization of both 6th Tening A/C-7 Peren A/C office bearers and its frontal organization of youth wing and women wing along with the farmer’s wing of Peren district. In a press note Dennis Elung president NPF Peren unit said that the house approved the nomination committee reports of the newly elected office bearers for another period. The meeting was attended by former congress party workers Raitu Chawang, Imriet, Nicodim and T.R Angami. Earlier in the programme T.R Zeliang minister for planning and coordination, evaluation, vety and A.H also exhorted the people to be ready for the forthcoming lone Lok Sabha election.
