Nagaland People’s Front (NPF), Phek Division launched the DAN Election rally for the forthcoming Lok Sabha and by-elections to the 17th Chizami Assembly Constituency here today.
Addressing the rally at clock tower, minister for health and family welfare Kuzholuzo Nienu appealed to the voters to caste their valuable vote for the DAN consensus candidate C.M. Chang and ensure his victory in the Lok Sabha poll scheduled for April 16 next.
“The DAN wants C.M. Chang to speak for Nagas at the parliament, but this can be possible only when people elected him to represent them in the parliament”, Azo said.
On the other hand, he also appealed to the voters of the 17th Chizami A/C to ensure the success of NPF candidate Deo Nukhu in the by-elections. “If he is elected to the state assembly, it would strengthen the DAN government to continue to deliver the developmental packages to the people of the state”, he added.
Parliamentary secretary, art and culture, law & justice and tourism Yitachu, said “Time has come for the people to take a right decision in electing the right candidate, to address grievances and lead the people towards the right path.
Political advisor to chief minister, Z. Lohe, parliamentary secretary for social welfare and women development, Chotisuh Sazo, deputy chairman state planning board (SPB), Neiba Kronu, ex- minister Thenucho, NPF candidate for by-elections Deo Nukhu, NPF vice president Pusazo Luruo, ex Mla Nuzota Swuro and BJP Phek district unit president Shetsuyi Ruho also spoke on the occasion.
