17 Chizami ACC: 17th Chizami ACC has expressed its profound gratitude to the AICC president Sonia Gandhi, NPCC president, V. Pusa and pradesh election committee, Nagaland for fulfilling the popular expectation and desire of the electorate of the 17Chizami ACC by allotting INC Ticket to former finance minister, Nagaland K. Therie. The party in a press note ensured it would restore its legitimate seat by defeating the NPF candidate Deo Nukhu with thumping majority. The 17 Chizami ACC also appealed to the electorates of the constituency to vote for Congress and elect K. Therie for all round development, and also appealed to the people of Nagaland to elect K. Asungba Sangtam INC Candidate for parliamentary election. Seithekema ‘A’ VC: Seithekema ‘A’ village council has extended gratitude to state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, for black topping the village approach road from New Showuba to the village under Seithekema circular road. Chairman and secretary of the village council, Keyielhoutuo Kuotsu, and Neibu Kayina, in a joint release stated the chief minister has himself taken note of the deplorable road condition and showing concern towards the village. The release further appreciated periodical supervision of the work done by EE, SDO and JE, PWD (R &B). Meanwhile, the elders along with the village council have also urged every Nagas to continue supporting the leadership of Neiphiu Rio in bringing upliftment to Naga society. SJP: Nagaland state president of Socialist Janata Party (SJP), has extended gratitude to its national party president, Surendro Mohan, for electing I.S Akhei Achumi, as vice-president of the national party. DIPHUPAR VC VDB: Diphupar Village Council and Village Development Board have appreciated the land owners of B, C and D khels for their contribution and co-operation during the social work held on March 25. According to Diphupar village council chairman, K. Kapfo and VDB secretary, Tiatemsu the lands under their khels were affected while widening and demolishing brick fencing for the improvement of village roads. A release also stated that the social work in the remaining khels would be started in due course of time in phase manner as per village roads demarcation and further requested the villagers to extend co-operation with the village authority in executing the work.
