Community awareness and development (CAD) foundation organized the 5th free detoxification camp of community awareness and development foundation from March 17 to 31. The camp was supported by NSACS/NACO at fellowship colony. During the camp 99% of the campers successfully completed the detox period.
On the first day, certain ground rules were set for smooth functioning of the camp. The activities in the camp included health check up, abcess management/treatment, medication, yoga therapy, recreation, counseling, co-dependent meeting and input sessions.
On the closing day, counselor TI project, Kangzangpeule chaired the programme and outreach worker, Lanutula read a Bible passage. President Rotaract club, Chumukedima, Ren James exhorted the campers and staff, special song by Kerogum, vote of thanks by project manager of behalf of NSACS of TI project, Anna, where she said that detoxification camp would not have been possible without the help of NSACS and NACO.
