A showroom ‘Word of Christ’ for all section of people, especially for Christians in Nagaland was inaugurated at Domain building, below Syndicate bank, church road, Dimapur by Maongwati Aier, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Maongwati Aier urged all Christians to read the word of God instead of eradicating it from one’s own lives. He encouraged all to take the word of God wherever they go, be it offices, colleges, schools or market places.
“No one can destroy the word of God and the more we read the word of God, our faith increases, our knowledge and horizon widens”, he said.
J. Solomon, Centre Pastor, Pentecostal Church Dimapur while sharing the word of God stressed on Jesus Christ who is the center of the Bible. He said “the more we have faith, the more trials would come on our way and as per our standard of faith in him”.
God will judge according to the word of God and that the trials and temptations would be on its way however faith in the word would gain us eternal life. He also stressed on the importance of reading the word of God.
Earlier in the programme WOC managing director Rajendran, recalled on brief history of the Word of God ministry and how the providence guided him to begin this ministry.
The programme began with an invocation prayer from Pastor Elwood Gnanaraj, Pentecostal Church, Dimapur, welcome speech by K. Hocto Sema.
Geoffrey Yaden, chief editor Nagaland Post delivering the vote of thanks emphasized the word of God as the source of strength.
He further recalled the word of God as a tremendous source and inspiration to humanity.
Citing an anecdote, he said, “we go to the super market to get quality food for our physical maintenance so too one should go to places like ‘word of God store’ to buy food for spiritual needs.”
He also urged all to support the ministry by prayers and thanked those present on the occasion. The inaugural function also witness special song presented by the word of God staff members.
