Coordination meeting held at Changtongya

The monthly Changtongya departmental co-ordination meeting was held at the office chamber of Senior Medical Officer, Community Health center Changtongya on 29th April 2009 under the chairmanship of SDO (C) Changtongya, Chubawati Chang. He reviewed the last meeting minutes. He also thanked all the polling officials of the Parliamentary election. Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Marina highlighted the need for the construction of the approach road to the hospital to be forwarded at the next DPDB meeting to the SDO (Civil) which the house accepted. The SDO (C) informed all the heads of office to keep the record of the land patta of their respective offices and quarters along with maps in detail. SDO PHE highlighted the progress of the new pipeline connection in the town. He also thanked the Town Council for their co-operation in this work. The house forwarded to the BDO to present the monthly activity report of the department in the next meeting. DoIC invite applicants for advance training DIMAPUR: Directorate of Industries and Commerce (DoIC) has invited applicants to undergo six months ‘Advanced Training in Fine Cane and Bamboo Handicrafts and its allied technology at Bamboo and Cane Development Institute (BCDI), Khejurbagan, Agartala, from July 1. According to a press communiqué issued by the department, application in plain paper with full details of the applicant has to be submitted to the department latest by May 12 including name, father’s name, date of birth (age limit 16-30), educational qualification (minimum Class VIII passed), caste, full address, experience in cane and bamboo if any. The communiqué also said that stipend of Rs.350 per month would be provided for selected trainees who are not regular employee while Rs.250 would be paid to the salaried employees in addition to the stipend distance allowance of rs.100 per month. Hostel accommodation would also be provided while the trainees would have to arrange their own food, the release further added.
