To address issues of fundamental importance and relevance based on exceptional life and teachings of Jesus Christ, a consultation on “Christian in the Workplace” organised by Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, (RZIM) Life Focus Society was conducted on Thursday IMC Hall, Dimapur. Main speaker of the programme, RZIM Executive director (Asia- Pacific) L.T Jeyachandran focused on the subject ‘Identity’ Jeyachandran said the problem in today’s context was ‘identity crisis.’ “Identity has to be seen in your workplace, when you are at your work place you are reflecting the image of Christ…you walk on God and you are on your way to identity crisis”. He stressed on how to relate with others while maintaining identity amidst different denominations, tribes, castes etc. Like- minded organisations, Church leaders, businessmen, NGOs, politicians and individuals gathered together to engage with relevant conversation and were provided with opportunity to ask questions and clarify their doubts. Jeyachandran urged the gathering to become a part and parcel of the society and to let others see their good works and praise God. RZIM Life Focus was established in India in June 1987. Its vision is to reach and challenge those who shape the ideas of a culture with the credibility of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. RZIM would minister through open forum on the topic ‘certainty in the midst of uncertainty’ on May 1 at 5 p.m at IMC. Member and local organiser of the programme Town Baptist Church Vilodi Sakhrie has informed RZIM members and well wishers to attend the programme.
