All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA), Tuensang unit expressing its strong support to ANSTA, Dimapur for their agitation has appealed the higher ups authority to take a corrective measure before at the earliest.
Extending its support president ANSTA, Tuensang unit, L. Chaba Chang in a press statement pointed out that teachers of government schools in the state and Tuensang district have been facing a number of genuine problems due to mismanagement and apathetic attitude of the concerned department. Highlighting that many “bogus” appointment and non payment of salaries to the genuine teachers has been the issue for the last three months and the unrest over the issue of service continuation of Ad-hoc teachers prevailing among the grieved teachers in Tuensang, he called for an urgent steps to overcome those genuine problems.
Questioning the department responsible for not tracing out a single bogus appointment in the department and those erring officials involved, the ANSTA Tuensang wonder why those who were in the directorate of school education were allowed to Scot free. Further it also questioned the department responsible why the genuine teachers were allowed to suffer for three months while those actual culprits were allowed to enjoy the salaries.
