As Farrah Fawcett continues her battle against cancer, Access Hollywood has learned the actress’ 91-year-old father is flying in from Texas to be at her bedside. In addition, cancer specialists from Germany are also en route to the ailing star. A documentary, “Farrah’s Story,” capturing Farrah’s battle with cancer is set to air on NBC May 15, but according to People magazine, her condition has severely deteriorated. “She thought it would have a wonderful ending,” longtime love Ryan O’Neal told the mag. “She stays in bed now,” he told People on May 4. “I rubbed her back this morning. When I got up to go, she whispered, ‘Don’t stop.’ She’s down to few words.” And Ryan said he has already been hit by what life will be like without his sweetheart and the mother of his son, Redmond, 24. “I can’t hear a song, I can’t pass places that we were together without being stabbed in the heart,” he told the mag. “I won’t know this world without her.” Farrah has now lost her famous mane of hair, Ryan confirmed. Her weakend state affected son Redmond, who was allowed out of jail to visit her last month after a doctor wrote the court a note saying this could be the last time he sees his mother alive. According to the mag, Ryan told Redmond not to rattle his jail shackles during his visit as they have not told Farrah that Redmond had been arrested again. In the new documentary, Redmond is captured on camera, crawling into bed with his sleeping mother, crying, “Oh my gosh, oh my gosh.” Ryan said his son is terrified for his mom. Trying to console him, Ryan told Redmond following his visit, “She’s rebounding. I lied to him. I lied to her. It’s the best thing,” he told People. But Farrah has not lost her hope. “I’m holding onto the hope that there is some reason that I got cancer,” Farrah said in the upcoming documentary. Ryan told People Farrah has not had last rites yet. And Access has learned that Farrah is waiting for a “miracle” treatment as doctors from Germany are flying to Los Angeles in the next few days. It’s “a last gasp,” Ryan told People.
