Youths allege betrayal by NPF Dmu II

Youths of Sewak Lotha colony on Thursday alleged that officer in-charge of new market, Sekium made ‘false promises’ by enticing them to vote in favour of DAN consensus candidate, C.M. Chang. Stating that NPF Dimapur II betrayed the youths, Sewak Lotha colony youth, M. Kithan in a press release stated that youths namely Obenthung, Maring, Nepra, Nzanthung, James, Sebastain, Renbemo, Suraj, Kevin, Roshan, Nchumbemo and Chenio, were given false promises to pay money in return for casting votes, but youths were allowed to vote up to 12 noon and the remaining four hours since polling stations number 16, 17 and 18 were dominated by the NPF Dimapur II. The youths has requested the election department to look into the matter and conduct re-polling in the mentioned polling stations, failing which they stated their own course of action would be taken.
