Chudi Students’ Union (CSU) has expressed disappointment over the usual absences of government employees of Health and Family Welfare and department of Education posted in Chudi Village. CSU has stated that due to absence of government employees, citizens of Chudi village have been deprived of their basic needs such as education and medical facilities. CSU informed that there was no other medical healthcare centers and educational institution available in and around the village vicinity other than chudi village. CSU said though a letter was served to each individual beseeching their service, it proved futile because of their “arrogance and uncaring attitude”. A press statement jointly issued by CSU president N. Lichamo Jami, general secretary Y. Rhontsuthung Mozhui, Vice- president Nchumthung R. Tungoe and assistant general secretary Priscilla R. Jungio has appealed government employees to stay in the village and render their valuable service for the benefit of the people. CSU has assured to extend cooperation in the execution of their duties in whatever possible ways. Further, Union also said failing to adhere to the plea would be forced to take its own course of action.
