Recruitment rally for 1st Mahila IRB DIMAPUR: Recruitment rally of women constable for the 1st Mahila Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) has been scheduled on April 29 onwards in all 11 district headquarters. A press release issued by IGP Thechamo Lotha IPS has informed all candidates, who have applied for the post of women constable (GD) in the 1st Mahila Indian Reserve Battalion have been directed to report at the district superintendent on April 29. Spl C/L for Watsü DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung C.M. Tsanglao has granted special casual leave to Ao women employees on April 24. According to an official bulletin, leave was granted to Ao Women employees to enable them to attend 17th Watsü Mungdang (Ao Women Conference) to be held at Mokokchung Town Hall. A two-day Watsü Mungdang would start on April 23. Treasury office to shift at Purana bazaar DIMAPUR: The Treasury office would remain closed on April 23 and 24 as the office would be shifted to Treasury Training Institute complex Purana Bazar, Dimapur. Treasury officer Khevito Chophi has informed all DDOs, pensioners and public that office would resume its normal function from April 27. NPCC meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) Office Bearers, Frontal Chiefs and Cell Chairmen has been convened on April 24 at 11 a.m. at Congress Bhavan, Kohima. All members have been informed to attend the meeting. Old Riphyim meet DIMAPUR: General meeting of Old Riphyim Baptist Church has been convened on April 25 at 9 a.m at Old Riphyim to discuss the celebration of its forthcoming Platinum jubilee. Pastoral staff has extended invitation to all office bearers, convenor of various committees, its members and elders and all invitee members have been informed to attend the meeting. Meanwhile, all convenor of various committees have been requested to reach April 24 and to attend the meeting of committee convenor and deacon board at 5 p.m.
