IRCS meet DIMAPUR: Dimapur DC, Maongwati Aier has convened a meeting on April 24 at 11 am conference hall, DC’s office to re-organise the IRCS Dimapur District Branch. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting. ANPSA seminar DIMAPUR: All Nagaland Private Schools Association (ANPSA) has convened a one-day seminar for head of schools under its association on May 2 at G. Rio School Kohima. In a press statement, President ANPSA, Aheto Sumi, has requested all member schools including non member private schools to attend the seminar. The registration would start at 9 am and bus service would be available at 9 am at Keziekie below North Police station, Kohima for transportation. Naga girl bags award DIMAPUR: Nishina Hekha of Lady Hardinge Medical College and associated Hospitals New Delhi bagged the Shri M. L Garg Memorial Medal award for the best senior resident radiologist. SOUDA general meet DIMAPUR: General meeting of Shena Old Union Dimapur Area (SOUDA) has been convened on April 25, 9 am at the residence of Vika Achumi, Padampukhuri Dimapur. All members residing in and around Dimapur have been informed to attend the meeting. CWS Khonoma silver jubilee KOHIMA: Christian Welfare School Khonoma will celebrate its 25th anniversary on April 25 at 10 am at CWS ground, Khonoma. Minister for School Education and SCERT Nyeiwang Konyak will grace the occasion as chief guest. ‘Kyong Yithen’ subscription DIMAPUR: Dimapur Kyong Students Union (DKSU) has informed all Kyong citizens of Dimapur that ‘Kyong Yithen’ is being subscribed by the union with Dimapur and further appealed to all to cooperate for the upliftment of the community. DKSU president Wobenthung Humtsoe in a press communiqué stated the bulletin would be dispatched weekly and informed those interested to contact the president at 9436804011. DGC students asked to attend class DIMAPUR: Normal classes for class XII and BA, B COM-II of Dimapur Government College (DGC) for the current has begun, for which all students have been requested to attend classes. Informing this in a press release Principal DGC Dr. Lanutola said disciplinary action would be initiated by the college authority if students were found missing from classes without prior permission. Course on tailoring and cosmetology DIMAPUR: Centre for Empowering Women and Child (CEWC) has informed that it would be completing six months certificate course on tailoring and cosmetology with 3rd batch on May 15 and that the new batch would commence from May 20 with thirty day trainees (non residential). Nagaland state AIDS council meeting DIMAPUR: The Nagaland State Aids Council would be conducting its first meeting on April 29 at Nagaland Legislative Assembly conference hall. The meeting would be attended by the chief minister, speaker, all cabinet ministers, chief secretary and commissioner & secretary health and family welfare. Besides other members representing directorate of health and family welfare, NCACS, LFA and NGOs would also be present. Zunheboto Area Welfare Society meet DIMAPUR: A general meeting of Zunheboto Area Welfare Society (ZAWS) has been convened on April 28 at 3 pm at banker Gutoshe Yeptho ex-Minister, Bayavu hill colony, Kohima. ZAWS Sessional secretary, Tokiho Kiba has requested all to attend the meeting. Peren district DPDB meet DIMAPUR: Peren district DPDB meeting has been scheduled on April 29 at 11 am at Forest colony, Peren town. In a press statement issued by Deputy Commissioner N. Mesen, all the heads of departments and DPDB members have been asked to attend the meeting. KSU Assembly postponed DIMAPUR: The 2nd Kyong Students’ Union (KSU) Union Assembly which was scheduled for April 25 has been postponed due to NSF general conference. A press release issued by Deputy Speaker KSU, Sorenthung Ngullie requested all members to bear with the inconvenience and has asked all units to contact 9402026277, 9615146378 for more necessary information. Lotsu Students’ Union meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of Lotsu Students’ Union (LSU) has been convened on April 28, 10 am at the community hall. All members have been informed to attend the meeting. Dimapur Phom Students’ Union meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of Dimapur Phom Students’ Union (DPSU) has been convened on April 25 at its treasurer. All office bearers and area representatives have been informed to attend the meeting. ANSTA general meet DIMAPUR: General meeting of All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) Dimapur unit has been convened on April 27, 10 am at GHSS ground, Nagarjan. Association general secretary, Z. Hotovi Yeptho has requested all teachers’ to avail one day casual leave and to attend the meeting. Condolence message LSU: Longtsung Students’ Union (LSU) has mourned the demise of Zanthungo Mozhui who passed away on April 19 at Longtsung village. The union, while conveying condolence message to the bereaved family members, prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. YAAC: Yimchunger Akheru Arihako Chumukedima (YAAC) has expressed condolence on the demise of union executive secretary and student of Mt. Mary higher secondary school Chumukedima Late. M. Kumtsu Yim on April 22. The union in a condolence message stated that Late M. Kumtsu was sincere and dedicated to his work towards society and his work would be cherished by the union and community. The union further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
