Dimapur district conducted a seminar and orientation programme for acclimatization of various schemes to the beneficiaries recommended for Chief Minister Corpus Fund for the year 2008-09 at DC Conference Hall on May 18.
According to an official bulletin, deputy commissioner and vice chairman DPDB, Dimapur Maongwati Aier while interacting with the beneficiaries expressed his happiness as most of the applicants for the current year opted for capacity building which would help the individual beneficiary and job opportunities would be created for the young unemployed youth of the state. He also informed that the chief minister of the state has appealed to all the beneficiaries to fulfill their tasks and come out with success for the benefit of the state. DC also appealed to the Lead Bank Manager and all the National Banks for cooperation whenever the beneficiaries required their assistance.
The resource persons of the seminar were deputy director A & H (Vety) Dr L.G Zhimomi, GM DIC (Industry) S.Nihovi Chishi, DIO-NIC Lipok Meren.
Meanwhile Asst. Planning Commissioner District Planning Machinery Shilu Naro thanked the DC, Dimapur, resource persons and beneficiaries for attending the orientation programme.
Altogether sixty one (61) beneficiaries were selected under the department of Veterinary and A.H, Information Technology, Youth Resources and Sports, Education and Industrial Schemes.
