Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) congratulated Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Naga People Front (NPF) for the resounding victory in the Lok Sabha election and by-elections. The Chairman of DMC, Khekaho Assumi through the press release also appreciated the CM for taking in the 2 BJP MLAs into the party and stated that it will only bring more stability to the NPF led DAN government. Further appreciating the unconditional support of the NPF to the UPA government at the centre, Khekaho stated that it will help in solving various problems faced by the state government and also expedite the ongoing Indo-Naga peace talks. DGCSC: Government College Students Council (DGCSC) has felicitated its member, Bendangtemsu, for his achievement in the field of theatre by receiving the ‘Young Talent Artistes Award 2008-09.’ Meanwhile, in a separate release, Dreamz Unlimited Theatre Society Nagaland (DUTSN) has also congratulated Bendangtemsu Walling, on being conferred with the ‘Young Talent Award’, felicitated by NEZCC, further wishing him success in his future endeavours. C‘W’S Usutomi and Zhevishe village: Chimemi (Widow) Society of Usutomi and Zhevishe village have congratulated students of Government High School Saptiqa (Zunheboto) for the 100% HSLC result. The society has also thanked the teachers of the school for helping in bringing good results for the past 8 years showing that government institutions were not weaker than private institutions. The society meanwhile has urged responsible authorities to provide sufficient teachers, headmaster, UDA/LDA and cashier as per government norms and requested for timely encouragement from the government. KNCS: The Kyong Naga Cultural Society has felicitated Dr. Khyobeni Mozhui, daughter of N. Mozhui from Wokha village, on being conferred doctorate degree in Neuroscience from the University of Tenessee, Health Science Centre USA. The society lauded Dr. Khyobeni for bringing laurels to the Nagas and the Lothas, and wished her success in her future endeavours. PVSU: Pangti Village Students’ Union (PVSU) has felicitated R. Chumbeno Ngullie daughter of C. Rabemo Ngullie for successfully completing her studies in archaeology (history). The union has extended gratitude to Chumbeno Ngullie for bringing laurels to the community and wished her success in her future endeavors. LVC: Longpa Village Council (LVC) has expressed gratitude to DVO Mokokchung and his veterinary doctors led by Dr. M Toshi Aier VAS (KVC) I/c RAIC Mokokchung and convenor FIAC ATMA Kubolong block, Dr. Tiachuba VAS veterinary hospital, Dr. Swedivito VAS DDL Mokokchung, Dr.Chubala Bernard VAS veterinary dispensary Changtongya and all field staff for their prompt action and timely intervention during the outbreak of poultry disease in the village. The village has also thanked the team for free distribution of medicines, imparting knowledge and creating awareness on different diseases.
