Notes of gratitude

Kongan Village Council: Kongan Village Council expressed their gratitude to Dept. of Health and Family Welfare under the Director for initiating the construction of Sub-centre in Kongan village. In a joint statement, VCC, W. Longshen, VHC, E. Humpong Jehuhu and ex-Chairman, Chingnyuk Konyak said that the sub-centre which was estd. in 1987 with 1 pharmacist and a medical attendant, was operating without an office or staff quarter from the residence of G.B. T. Yamyap free of cost. With the building constructed satisfactorily by H. Chingpai under the supervision of VCC and VHC, the village elders have termed it as a gift from God. Expressing gratitude to the department for considering their village as one of the recognized villages of Nagaland, they have also appealed to the government for more development such as construction of staff quarter and electrification. Philimi Students’ Union : Philimi Students’ Union has expressed gratitude to Forest Officer, Zunheboto, Zhekuto Sumi and Forest ranger, Atoizu town, Khevito Sumi for the financial assistance towards the union fund and to the Philimi Baptist Church. Through a press release issued by its President, Anato Yeptho, the union expressed deep appreciation saying that it would always be remembered. Further, it congratulated all the successful candidates of HSLC and HSSLC for bringing laurel to the union and encouraged them to pursue for greater goals and to equip themselves in the era of competitive world. Yingli College : The principal, faculty and students of Yingli College, Longleng has expressed gratitude to Department of Under-Developed Areas (DUDA) for organizing a seminar on career counseling at Yingli College on May 5. During the seminar, topics on veterinary & animal husbandry and floriculture were delivered by Dr. Aoyimsen Jamir and Narola Jamir respectively. Vice principal, Yingli College, Longleng, B. Henshet Phom in a press note stated the seminar was an inspiration for the students of the college to set up their own self supporting project. He also stated the students of the college had been immensely benefited, particularly the flower arrangement demonstration which was an eye-opener. The college also meanwhile expressed gratitude to chief minister of Nagaland and minister in-charge DUDA Neiphiu Rio, advisor DUDA E. E. Pangteang, secretary DUDA T. C. Sangtam, director, DUDA Mikha Lomi and other officers of the department for initiating and sponsoring this kind of programme for the students of the backward district and further requested DUDA to organize similar educative programme even in the days to come. Kohima Akuk Ekung: Kohima Akuk Ekung(KAE) has expressed gratitude to DAN government under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for allocating the Home Commissioner post to Mhathung Kithan IAS. VEC Mishilimi: Village Education Committee of Government Primary School (GPS), Mishilimi (Y) under DIS Pughoboto, expressed gratitude to state level committee, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Chairman, Among and member, Chacko, for extending support towards welfare of the school. Chairman, VEC, GPS, Mishilimi (Y), through a press release issued also thanked Vikishe SDO (Civil), Kughoboto for contributing painting materials for the school building.
