Notes of gratitude

KSU, KNSK: Konyak Students’ Union (KSU) has expressed gratitude to SP, Mon, recruitment board members, officers and jawans of DEF Mon for the peaceful conduct of 1st Mahila (IR) Recruitment Rally at Mon headquarters from April 29 to May 2. The union has also lauded the state and central government for giving such opportunity for women of the state. KSU has further thanked all board members for the fairness in selecting the candidates and wished all the successful candidates the best and urged them to perform their duties sincerely. Meanwhile, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) has also expressed gratitude to SP Mon Limasunep Jamir and his colleagues for the peaceful conduct of 1st Mahila (IR) recruitment rally. KNSK has further thanked DAN government under Chief Minister Nephiu Rio for providing 72 posts to Mon district and wished all the successful candidates the best for their future endeavor. NUV: Naga United Village (NUV) has appreciated Dhansiripar SDO (C), Haktipong EAC, and police department for initiating law and order situation in time during the incident on April 30 and May 1 where the village was ‘attacked’ by New Beisumpuikam village at Intangki reserved land. Tokugha Sumi, on behalf of Naga United Village (NUV) has also extended gratitude to Vitokhe Assumi, Convener, ENPO, Hokiye Yeptho, President, WSH, and to Khukivi Aomi, Chairman, SCD, for their initiatives during the tense situation. KDASU: President of Kuda (Dimapur) Angami Students Union (KDASU), Keneiselie Zatsu has extended profound gratitude to all those individuals, groups and well wishers who attended the cultural programme and making it a grand success through their constant help morally, financially and materially. WGOT: Waromung Gazette Officers Forum has expressed gratitude Dr. K. Chuba for rendering his valuable service to the people of Nagaland in capacity as Commissioner and Secretary, Soil Conservation. In a press release I. Tali Longkumer, President WGOT and S. Temsu Longchar said the union thanked the almighty God for bestowing such personality and will remember the sacrificial service rendered by him. KWST: Kohima Waromung Senso Telongjem (KWST) has expressed their profound gratitude to Dr. K.Chuba Ozukum (Retd) Commissioner and Secretary for his sincere and valuable service and for initiating various developmental works for the union and the village. The union in a press release issued by KWST wished him happy and retired life and God’s blessing. VVC: Viswema Village Council has expressed gratitude to the Kohima Obstetric and Gyneacology Society of Nagaland for organizing free health camp at Viswema Community Health Centre on May 2. Chairman of VCC, Vizohol Vitsu, in a release, conveyed special thanks to Dr. Kevingulie Khro, Dr. K. Keditsu, Dr. Abei and Dr. Atoshe. YNBEWK: Yanmhon Nkonjan Baptist Ekhumkho Wotok Khumshum (YNBEWK) has expressed gratitude to Okhotso Baptist Church Mission Society for organizing free medical check up and for distributing medicine freely from May 2 to 3 at Liphi and Sunhkha villages where more than 300 villagers were benefited from different villages under Yanmhon area. In an appreciation note issued by Jenithung Tungoe, secretary YNBEWK has also appreciated all the doctors, nurses, volunteers and all individual for the successful organization of the humanity mission. YAPO: Yanmhon Area Public Organisation (YAPO) has expressed gratitude to Okotso Baptist Church Mission Society led by Dr. L.M Murry, Retd. Director of health and family welfare and his team for conducting free medical camp held from May 1 to 3 and for providing medicines. According to YAPO chairman, Khonbemo Jami, around 500 villagers were given access to health check-up and the gospel team also conducted special service in different churches of the area. The organization also thanked Dr. Wopen, MO and staff pf SHC Yanmhon for their support during the camp, Yiphyolumo Mozhui for supervising the team and area public for their selfless service and co-operation in making the programme a success. S/TANGTEN VILLAGE: General public of S/Tangten village under Mon district expressed gratitude and appreciation for the construction of irrigation channel and division under the Thanpong and Telam Projects at the village by the Irrigation & Flood Control department. N. Nokto Konyak, council chairman and C. Khatwang Konyak, ex-VDB Secy, in a joint statement said that it would solve major problems that the farmers have been facing for more than 40 years. They also extended their gratitude to the Chief Engineer, Kohima and SO, Mon for their valuable services in supervising the projects.
