Two lane at NH 61 DIMAPUR: Deputy commissioner Wokha, Wepretso Mero has issued a notification that the construction of two lane on Highway and widening of road on NH-61 is anticipated to reach Wokha district very shortly. According to an official bulletin, any person/persons in possession of land specially along NH-61 under Wokha district at Wokha town or other towns and villages along the road side have been directed to obtain house/building or any structure construction permit from the office of the district urban development officer, Wokha before starting any construction works to avoid any complication or eviction during the extension of the National Highway. Army recruitment rally DIMAPUR: Army recruitment rallies for the period of April 1 to September 30 for the states of Nagaland and Manipur have been scheduled for June 9 to 14 in Jalukie (Peren) and Senapati (Manipur) from July 14 to 26, stated in an official bulletin. DZBCWS 25 anniv DIMAPUR: Dimapur Zeme Baptist Church Women Society (DZBCWS) would celebrate its 25 anniversary on May 17 for which all well wishers and Zeliangrong Churches have been invited to attend the celebration. DGU meet DIMAPUR: Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU) has convened a meeting on May 17 at 10 am at Gorkha Bhavan, Nepali Gaon, Dimapur. According to a press release issued by the union general secretary, Deepak Chettri, the main agenda to be discussed at the meeting included observance of DGU foundation day on May 27 and setting up of Gorkha village at Zuheshe, Niuland, for which all office bearers, executive members, unit representatives, GBs and well wishers have been requested to attend the meeting. ATC meet DIMAPUR: Meeting of the Board of Directors of Anderson Theological College (ATC), Azuito has been convened on May 23 at the residence of Nihovi Chishi, Chairman of the board. OAVC notice DIMAPUR: Chairman, Old Aree Village Council (OAVC) Ekyimo Ngullie has requested Yihamo Yanthan, Secretary, OAVC to reach the village within 7 days, failing which necessary action would be taken. ZTC informs DIMAPUR: Chairman, Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC), has informed all councilors of ZTC to report at the office on May 20 without fail.
