Supporting the ‘Save a live’ tour, Squadron has released a single “Victim of Dead” on July 2. The free song can be downloaded from the band’s official website www.squadrononline.com. The first show would held at Mokochung’s local ground on July 10. Inter Mingle Club of Mokokchung is the event partner for the Mokokchung show, which has also been given the sole right to sell tickets under Mokokchung district.
The Nagaland Music Task force, NBDA, SBI, Bethesda Youth Welfare Centre (centre for community transformation) and NEZCC are supporting the tour with Nagaland Post as the media partner. Apart from these altruistic organizations, the band is calling out to all like-minded persons and organizations to participate in the bands’ philanthropic pursuit to reach out to the underprivileged section of the society in whatever capacity they can.
It may be mentioned that the tour is organized for the purpose of extending financial assistance to poor patients of the State by reallocating whatever funds the band generates from the tour.
Given the nature of the tour the band request all responsible citizens of Nagaland to refrain from duplicating the tickets or collecting money from government/private organizations or companies or individuals on behalf of the band, unless authorized with proper documentations by the band’s management team. Originally scheduled to start last year the band was forced to defer the tour until July this year due to lack of sponsorship.
Meanwhile, the band profoundly thanked all the organizations and individuals who are supporting the tour for their undeterred endurance as well as to the fans for their patience.
