Ao Senden appeals

Stating that the Nagaland Pulp and Paper Corporation Limited Tuli was an asset to the Nagas, the Ao Senden has affirmed to check and put under its surveillance any forms of taxation in the paper mill. Ao Senden general secretary, A. Nungsang Jamir in a statement said the revival process of the only industry being undertaken was aimed at the economic uplift of the people of the state. It called for outright halt of taxation in any form to enable uninterrupted revival process of the paper mill. The Ao Senden also appealed all sections of the people to desist from taxation and to stand guard of the common property.
