Jaiswal assures Coal Block Allocation

Union minister for state (Independent Charge) for Coal and Mines Prakash Jaiswal has assured to extend possible help for Coal Block Allocation once paper works and other formalities were completed. The Coal Block once awarded would be utilised for installing Thermal Power Plant in the state and would ease the power requirement acutely faced by the state. Informing this in a press release, PS to parliamentary secretary for Geology and Mining, Irrigation and Flood control and Border Affairs, Nagaland Y. Patton said, the parliamentary secretary and union minister in their meeting on July 3 in New Delhi deliberated on various developmental activities initiated by the ministry and emphasised on the need for Coal Block Allocation under the dispensation scheme for Nagaland. The parliamentary secretary congratulated the union minister for taking care of the ministry and expressed confidence in his capability and statesmanship. The parliamentary secretary was accompanied by principal secretary, Geology and mining and OSD (G&M).
