CMO Mkg inform candidates DIMAPUR: CMO Mokokchung has informed candidates who had applied for the post of ASHA Co-ordinator to attend the interview on July 10 at Chief Medical Office Mokokchung. Interview would start at 11am; therefore all candidates have been requested to reach the office by 10:30 am along with their original documents. ENPU Phek informs DIMAPUR: Eastern Nagaland People’s Union Phek (ENPU) has informed all six tribes under ENPU Phek to submit membership fee of Rs. 10 per head and registration fee of Rs. 100 along with statistical report for session 2009 before July 10 to the office bearers. All newcomers who are yet to register have been requested to register through tribal union. ENPU president, Phek O. Akong Chang has directed that stringent action would be taken by Union according to the union resolution against any tribe or person who fail to submit. SP Kohima on traffic regulation DIMAPUR: To further regulate traffic during the ongoing session of 11th NLA, SP Kohima informed that no vehicle (Private/Government) would be allowed to park from New NST Point (NIIT building) to Razhü Point. All vehicles intending to halt in the area have been directed to proceed to local ground, where temporary arrangement for parking has been made; the arrangement would remain in force from July 9 to 13. Tuluni festival DIMAPUR: Kohima Sumi Students Union (KSSU) president Holuvi Chophy has requested the head of institutions to grant leave to Sumi students studying in various institutions to enable them to attend the Tuluni festival on July 8. Meanwhile, Lotisa Youth Department would organize Tuluni festival on July 8 at local ground with JE (PWD), L. Hukato Chishi as Tuluni father. Zbto DPDB meeting postponed DIMAPUR: Monthly meeting of Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board scheduled for July 8 has been postponed to July 24 to coincide with special DPDB meeting for finalization of local area development programme 2009-10. DPO and members secretary DPDB Zunheboto, K. Sekhamo informed the elected members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly from Zunheboto district and all DPDB members Zunheboto to attend the meeting. NSCN Tisary region condoles DIMAPUR: NSCN Tisary region has mourned the demise of Leacy Member Mazhu on July 1 after being abducted by rival faction from Meluri. The release issued by RAO, Tisary region, NSCN/GPRN also expressed condolences to the bereaved family members of the deceased. KMC on dumping of garbage DIMAPUR: Kohima Municipal Council in exercise of section 278 of Nagaland Municipal Act, 2001 informed all public to clear/remove building materials, loose soil, waste etc dumped on the roadside in and around Kohima within 10 days from the date of issue of this notice. The release issued by its chairman Vizopal Chaya further directed to clear all construction materials dumped on the roadside within 24 hours and warned of strict action against defaulters as per Nagaland Municipal Act. Villages appeal to DSE DIMAPUR: Chairman of VEC, GPS Suthotsu, GPS Satheri, GMS Kutsapo, GMS Sohomi and GMS Chepoketa under EBRC Phek Block appealed to Director, School Education to provide only exercise note books instead of school bags, ECCE Kits and raincoats under SSA based on the usefulness by the students of the school. Naga Women Hoho grateful DIMAPUR: Naga Women Hoho has expressed gratitude to Deputy Commissioner (Administration) Dimapur, Maongwati Aier, ADC Sedivikho Khro, DMC Chairman Khekaho Chairman, Naga Council Chairman, Savi Leigise, Pochury Baptist Church, Chumukedima, Kuda Razha Angami Pfiiko Krotho (Angami Women Hoho, Dimapur), Chakhesang Mothers Association, Sumi Totimi, Dimapur, LEED ( Lotha Women Hoho) Mao Women Hoho, Dimapur, Pochury Women Hoho, Dimapur and Anal Women Hoho, Dimapur for their contribution, support and cooperation rendered during its visit to Jalukie for distribution of relief materials to the displaced victims of NC hills.
