Spice Curing Unit to serve as boon for Lumsherurur farmers

The first agricultural product machine known as Spice Curing machine (750 to 1000 powers Unit) was inaugurated on Tuesday at Lumsherurur Farmers Training Centre in Tuensang, by secretary Nagaland State Agriculture Marketing Board, C. Mozhui, sponsored by Nagaland state agriculture marketing board. Speaking at the inauguration programme, the chief guest said, by installing the machine, people of Tuensang would benefit immensely and earn profit if utilized in a proper way. He urged for peaceful functioning of the unit till agriculture products were harvested in a successful manner. He encouraged the farmers to seize the opportunity of marketing outlets, so that qualities of agriculture products were enhanced. The machine can dry one thousand kilograms of ginger and various kinds of agriculture products in one day which would be helpful for farmers of rural areas. The machine costing Rs 3, 50,000 weighs around 1000 kg. He also lauded the effort made by Z. Thsanso, Proprietor of Lumsherurur project, for uplifting the people of rural areas through such kinds of agriculture activities, which would be lucrative for the society. Earlier the programme began with invocation by Pastor, Rev. P. Akum, Yimchunger Baptist Church Tuensang Town while vote of thanks was proposed by Temjen, DAO, Tuensang. While interacting with farmers and village council of Kuthur village and Chingmelen village council, proprietor Z. Thsanso urged them to keep working hard for the profit of the common people.
