Dmu railway station declared ‘model station’

Members of the Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) for Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has lauded the union minister of railway for the budget which was recently presented in New Delhi on Monday. In a press release the union hoped the budget would strengthen and boost the railway’s economy. ZRUCC also appreciated the minister’s decision for including and considering the ten northeast projects as national projects stating it would enormously facilitate NFR to enjoy the same status and privileges with the rest of the country, proving to be beneficial for the entire northeast region. The union also informed the lone station Nagaland located at Dimapur, being the second largest highest revenue generating station after Guwahati has been upgraded and declared as ‘model station’ for which additional facilities and developmental works had been assured with various plan of actions initiated for implementation.
