Clark Theological College goes online

Clark Theological College, (CTC) Aolijen, Mokokchung one of the premier Theological Institution in the North East is now connected to the rest of the world with the launching of wireless Internet and its own website on July 9. The communication system, set up through the help of BSNL, was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, C.M. Tsanglao and witnessed by a host of dignitaries, CTC faculty members, staff and students. In his welcome speech Principal of the college, Rev. Dr. Tekatemjen Ao said more than 1,500 students have graduated from the college since its inception in 1972. The college at present has 280 students representing around 40 different language groups. The college offers courses of Integrated Bachelor of Divinity, Bachelor of Divinity after graduation, MA in Pastoral Ministry and M. Th in Christian Ministry after BD. Meanwhile, Clark Theological College would be hosting All India Serampur University Convocation in 2011 for which preparations are afoot in the college campus. According to an official bulletin, CTC Principal, Rev. Dr. Tekatemjen Ao disclosed that the convocation is being conducted for the first time in the history of Serampur University. He said apart from 100 principals, academic deans and senators, more than 1,000 students from more than 40 colleges under the university would be attending the convocation to receive their Degrees and Diplomas. The CTC was affiliated to the Senate of Serampur University in 1985.
