SPGSF celebrate Tuluni festival

Sumi Post Graduate Students’ Fellowship (SPGSF) Nagaland University, Lumami celebrated the Tuluni Festival on July 8 Hokishe Yepthomi, President Sumi Hoho graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He was accompanied by his wife. Vitoli Yepthomi and his esteem colleagues Kahito Yeptho Vice-President, Kitoho S. Rotokha, GS Vihoto Chopy Fin. Secy and Hokugha Sukhala executive member. The chief guest expounded on various meanings associated with Tuluni festival and how it has been celebrated. He deliberated on the need for the intellectuals to have Naga national consciousness and to act as torch-bearers and nation builders. He exhorted young people to rise above narrow tribalism. Dr. Hauto Rengma OSD Adm and his colleagues, Heads of various departments along with some teaching faculties also attended the program. The program was chaired by Inahoto Swu, Convener SPGSF, Dr. John Sema conveyed Tuluni greetings while the welcome note and vote of thanks was addressed by Omega G. Achumi and Inoka V. Zhimo respectively. Dr. John Sema stressed that it was the time for “Rejuvenating Culture” and “Redefining our Culture”. The SPGSF also expressed gratitude to Kaito Aye, Minister, Road & bridges Nagaland and Kheto I. Kinimi Member NLA for their generosity and support.
