Book on role of church in healing HIV and AIDS

A book on role of the church in healing HIV and AIDS authored by N Thungdemo Kikon, Managing Director, Wongdang Ki Charitable Foundation was released by pastor, Lotha Baptist Church (LBC), Rev Zanao Mozhui on Thursday at LBC, Dimapur. The author stated that book was an in-depth research to understand the suffering and problem of the people leaving with HIV and AIDS. Pointing out the two objectives of understanding the sufferings of the people with HIV and AIDS and the role of the church in healing them, the author stated that Jesus came for the sick and not for the healthy. He also deliberated on the issue of whether HIV and AIDS was God’s final judgment for immoral people. Meanwhile the author also informed that all proceeds from sale of the books would go towards Wongdangki. He also thanked CM N Rio for funding the printing cost. Earlier the book was dedicated by senior associate pastor, LBC & convener, Eyilo Ministry, C Kyong while the vote of thanks was delivered by Chairman, Wongdang ki charitable foundation, Dr Y Kikon. The book is available in all book stores at the cost of Rs 150.
