DLU emergency meeting
DIMAPUR: Dimapur Lizütomi Union (DLU) has convened an emergency meeting on June 28 at 3 pm at the residence of union banker, Flix Yeptho, Purana Bazar, Dimapur. All executives, advisors and general public have been requested to attend the meeting while also informing that action would be taken against the absentees as per the law.
Satami Students’ Union trophy
DIMAPUR: Satami Students’ Union (SKK) has convened 24th Tuluni trophy Sata circle from July 4 to 7 on the theme “United through sports”. The union has requested all well wishers, senior leaders of SKK and all GBs under Sata circle to attend the occasion. SKK has also informed that all students have to attend the occasion.
DIMAPUR: Nagaland Soil Conservation Subordinate Field Staff Association (NSCSFSA) central office bearers has informed all district unit office to submit membership fees for the year 2009 to the association finance secretary by July 6. It further informed that any unit failing to submit the fees on time would be dealt with action.

DIMAPUR: NPF central women wing office bearers has convened a meeting on July 3 at its central office at 11 a.m with fromtal incharge. All office bearers and executive members have been requested to attend the meeting.
BYFD combined service
DIMAPUR: Baptist Youth Fellowship Dimapur (BYFD) has informed that the monthly combined service of BYFD would be held at police Baptist church Dimapur on June 28, 4 p.m. The service would be chaired by Wolo Lasuh and message would be said by reverend Loli Kape. Mass social work at Seiurüzha colony
DIMAPUR: A mass social work at Seiurüzha colony has been organized on July 4 from 5 am for which all its residents have been requested to participate by trimming all branches near electric posts and electric cable wires and between boundaries. Defaulters would be penalized with a fine of Rs.200.

KOHIMA: The annual general meeting and ceremonial function of the Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland State Branch (IRCSN), which was scheduled to be held on June 29, has been deferred due to unavoidable circumstances. The society has expressed regret to all its members and well wishers for the inconvenience.

YAA inform units
DIMAPUR: Yimchunger Akheru Arih-ako, YAA, has informed all federating units under YAA to submit yearly Statistical report from LKG to degree level latest by 15 July which was to be submitted to the government. According to a release issued by its Secretary Educational and statistical, P. Kuraq, has asked to submit at the stipulated time. Failing which, it said explanation call would be dealt to defaulters.

KOHIMA: Marcofed LPG service Kohima has informed all its consumers to give concrete proof including identity card or proof of address for verification at the Marcofed office, first floor, NAPO building, kezieke before July 31. The manager of Marcofed informed that LPF cylinders would not be refilled for unverified customers and has requested to contact 9436005534 for further details.
GPRN/NSCN Lotha region refutes claim
DIMAPUR: GPRN/NSCN Lotha region chairman, Z. John Lotha, has refuted the claims and allegations published in some local dailies on June 24 issued by CAO, NSCN (IM) Kyong region. According to a press release issued by the GPRN/NSCN Lotha region chairman, the arrest of on Yanbemo Patton, Rajapeyu, NSCN (IM), Ralan village, was inevitable so as to contain his evil designs and ideas of dividing the people of the area and sheltering anti-national elements when the Nagas were heading towards ‘Unification’ to usher an era of peace and tranquility. The release further said the question of targeting innocent old aged National workers and kidnapping for self interest of ‘Capt’ Mhabemo Jami does not arise, rather such misleading propagandas should not be published just to misguide the people of the area in particular and Nagas in general.
DIS Chiephobozou inform teachers
DIMAPUR: The Deputy Inspector of Schools (DIS), Chiephobozou, has informed all teachers who were appointed and transferred under its establishment from January 2002 to May 31, 2009 to be present for physical verification along with original appointment order, transfer order, extension orders (s) release order for those appointed against retirement vacancy along with two passport copies, educational documents from HSLC onwards on June 30 at 9.30 am at Town Hall, Chiephobozou.
DEO Kohima informs GHSS/GHS
DIMAPUR: District Education Officer (DEO), Kohima, has informed all principals and headmasters of GHSS/GHS under its jurisdiction excluding Tseminyu sub-division to submit their necessary documents latest by June 29 for submission to SIT vigilance. All teachers have been directed to appear in person with original appointment order, appointment against retired vacancy along with release order of the retired person in original, extension and transfer orders, educational documents in original from matriculation onwards along with a set of photocopy and two recent passport size photographs on July 1 at 9 am onwards for verification at Vigilance office, near New Secretariat.
DIMAPUR: Rengma Students’ Union Dimapur (RSUD) held its executive meeting on July 27 and inducted Ayhunlo Tep as RSUD general secretary, Gwalo Kemp as finance secretary and Precy Jemu as education and statistic secretary. In a press release issued by Daniel Semp, president RSUD has also informed that the union would be collecting its membership fees for the month of July as for Class A-II rupees ten, Class III-VII rupees fifteen, Class VIII-X rupees twenty and for Class X and above rupees thirty.
