Chudi Village Council (CVC) members has clarified that A.Z Jami, son of late Ashemo Jami of Chudi village could not be blamed for suspension of Yanpuvo Jungi and Yilobemo Jami as the decision for suspension was taken in a general meeting held on June 16 as per its established resolution No-6 and 8, dated November 21 and May 24, 2007. According to a clarification note signed by Chudi village head GB, Yibemo and other nine village council members, the village ex-chairman Yanpuvo Jungi and ex-VDB secretary, Yilobemo were well informed about the meeting but they ignored the call and failed to attend the meeting “intentionally and knowingly”. Meanwhile, Chudi Village Council (CVC) has clarified that CVC’s intention was not to tarnish the image of the individual, NSCN (GPRN) or the state government but out of curiosity of the incident at Chudi village which clearly reflected some vested individual intentions. In a press release issued by Yanpvuo Jami chairman CVC apologised to A.Z Jami, NSCN (GPRN) and state government for dragging their names while seeking clarification. Meanwhile the village council has also requested A.Z Jami not to interfere in the developmental activities in the village on the advice of the few individuals.
