Two week Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) for PMEGP beneficiaries 2009 got underway at Industries office, Kohima, on June 25 with 15 participants including four females from Dimapur, Mokokchung and Kohima districts.
According to Pranjal Kr. Das, RA, IIE, the programme would covering various topics that would benefit participants like becoming an entrepreneur - challenges ahead, entrepreneurial competencies; achievement, motivation and attitude building, developing confidence, establishment of an enterprise, managing of the scarce finance, marketing of products, statutory laws, rules and regulations of Government to be followed and expansion, growth and sustainability etc.
The programme was inaugurated by Executive Officer, KVIB, State Office, Kohima, Keditsu and attended by officials from IIE State Office, Dimapur.
Inaugurating the EDP, Keditsu highlighted the importance of the programme and expectation from the participants and further explained about the various government schemes and various business opportunities in Nagaland.
Welcoming the participants, Pranjal Kr. Das, RA, IIE, briefed about the programme and role and services of IIE which the participants could avail.
