Commenting on the recent NPSC scandals the All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has said in order to free the NPSC from all irregularities and corruption it required immediate revamp. A joint press note issued by the SKK president Abeto L. Shohe and general secretary Mughato .K Swu called for an immediate independent Judicial inquiry Commission to probe into the matter; immediate termination of those found guilty under the scam and their penalization as per the provisions under the law and immediate implementation of the High Power Committee’s recommendation of for total revamp of the NPSC. The note added that this was the only way to ensure that competent Naga youngsters do not become victims of corruption. It also condemned the harassment meted out to NSF volunteers on July 10 and said the volunteers were struggling for a genuine cause with which all Nagas should cooperate.
