Rahul likely to visit state

All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary Rahul Gandhi is expected to visit Nagaland soon, according to Nagaland Youth Congress (NYC) president, Kuputo Shohe. Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday at NYC office, Congress Bhavan, Kohima, Kuputo said that Rahul accepted NYC’s invitation to the state. He said Rahul was also personally impressed meeting the NYC at Guwahati. The president said that the NYC would start chalking out various action plans for Rahul’s visit to Nagaland and added that the ‘Aam Aadmi Ka Sipahi’ (AAKS) was the eye and ear of the youth icon. Meanwhile, the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) has appointed Mmhonlumo Kikon as the PYC chief coordinator, AAKS in-charge of Nagaland. General secretary (Administration), Mhochumo ovung informed that there were about 500 AAKS in the state.
