Stop collection of fitness certificates: DC Dmu

On receiving reports of Health department Dimapur charging medical fitness fees on the spot at the range of Rs. 100 to 150 from shops/vendors, Deputy Commissioner Maongwati Aier in an order has stated that as per Nagaland Prevention of food Adulteration rule 1985 Clause 6 and Central PFA Act 1954 and rules 1955 every vendor should obtain the PFA license but it does not permit collection medical fitness certificate fees on the spot from the shops/vendors. The DC has in Order directed that medical fitness certificate fees should not be charged from the shops/vendors with immediate effect.
