No immediate reshuffle: Rio

Playing down speculations on a possible reshuffling, chief minister Neiphiu Rio Friday ruled out any such move in the immediate future. “We are not in a hurry,” Rio told Nagaland Post on the sidelines of a warm send off ceremony to the outgoing governor K. Sankaranarayanan at the Raj Bhavan here today. He however said that certain adjustment would be worked out where everybody would be given a task and work collectively.The absence of representatives from Dimapur district and the Chang tribe fuelled speculations of a minor reshuffle to accommodate Azheto, reelected on NPF ticket from Dimapur-III assembly constituency and Kejong Chang on NPF ticket from Tuensang Sadar-II.The recent decision of the state cabinet to create department of New & Renewable Energy fuelled speculations.
