Classroom inaugurated at St Mary’s school

Deputy Inspector of School (DIS) Dimapur, Khetoshe Yepthomi inaugurated the new class room for class eleven students of St Mary’s Higher Secondary school, Padumphukri on Thursday. Rev Fr. Chacko Karinthayal who also attended the function, blessed the classroom after a prayer. Congratulating the school for the work the chief guest stated that any achievement is a big story and pointed out that it was for the benefit and welfare of the surrounding areas. He also urged the residents and elders of the area to cooperate with the school authorities if the need arises. Expressing satisfaction over the school report, he called upon the school to give utmost efforts to give quality education to the students. “Target is to produce quality education” he added. Earlier the welcome speech was delivered by Sister Scholastica Soreng while Sister Laisa gave the vote of thanks. The programme was also marked with students of the school presenting a number of variety shows.
