Governor visits state museum

Nagaland and Manipur governor Gurbachan Jagat accompanied by his wife Kiran Jagat paid a visit to state museum, Kohima Thursday, where they were apprised of various items and artifacts in the museum by officials of directorate of art and culture. The governor with keen interest observed various displayed items and made enquiries about of those relics. The museum officials explained about the history, significance and the characteristic of all the displayed items. Jagat acknowledged that the Museum was very educative and depicts nicely most of the aspects of Naga way of life. Congratulating the museum team for their wonderful work he expressed best wishes for the museum. He also expressed hope that museum would grow even bigger with time. The department officials also expressed gratitude to governor and his wife for honouring them by visiting the museum.
