Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM) Conference Hall, 3rd floor, Longri Continuing Education building was dedicated in a dedication programme cum handing and taking over of charge for director, NMM on Tuesday with the cutting of ribbon being done by Rev. Helkath Kappo, chairman, NMM mission board.
Rev. Dr. Mong Lotha invoked God presence, Akokla, Jamir, co-ordinator, research and information, NMM read the scripture while Rev. Dr. Anjo Keikung, out going director, NMM gave a brief report on construction of the Conference Hall.
Rev. Dr. Wati Longkumer was assigned as the new director of NMM. In his response, Rev. Wati lauded the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) for the confidence in assigning him as the director. Rev. Wati expressed that it was an opportunity for him but he needed responsibility to carryout the task. He asked for God’s wisdom to accomplish the responsibility adding it would be possible with the guidance of God and support of the members.
Rev. Wati also asserted that mission was the task of the church and urged the NBCC members and churches to work together to accomplish the task entrusted by God.
The outgoing NMM director, Dr. Rev. Anjo Keikung in his short speech expressed confidence that the mission of the church would be fulfilled under the dynamic directorship of Dr. Wati.
The programme was attended by NBCC cabinet of boards, executive secretaries, mission secretaries from various churches in Dimapur and host of church leaders.
Earlier Rev. Imotemjen Aier prayed for the new director and performed the act of handling and taking over of charge for director, NMM.
