DCC constitutes first ever ‘anti-corruption cell’

District Congress Committee (DCC) Dimapur as per the directives from the PCC, Nagaland had constituted it first ever ‘anti-corruption cell’ in coordination with District Youth Congress ‘Aam Admi Ka Sipahi’ with an aim to ensure transparency and accountability and to enable the public to get its due share. A press release issued by DCC, Dimapur, general secretary, H. Kisheto Chishi stated the cell would check misuse of public funds meant for development activities. The cell would also insist on utilizing funds judiciously and make the public aware of centrally sponsored schemes like NREGA, Bharat Nirman Yojana, SSA, NRHM, RGGVY, IAY, PMGSY, SGSY provided by the UPA government. The members of the ‘anti-corruption cell’ comprise of one each from five constituencies, three members from district Mahila Congress Committee (DMCC) and three members from DCC and are Toshi Imsong, H. Kisheto Chishi, M. Yanger, Bendangyanger Jamir, Odinungsang, Inavi Zhimo, Nizheto Swu, Huska Zhimo, Asangla Imli, Alila and Asangla Ahmed respectively. The public have further been informed to contact the office of the DCC, Dimapur or the members personally for any related grievances.
