A seminar cum workshop on rabbit farming at Tuensang was held on July 9 at Town Hall which was organized by department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandary and sponsored by ATMA, Tuensang.
According to a press release issued by Dr. Tsileu Haikube, VAS (RES), Tuensang, a brief outline of ATMA’s activities was given by Dr. Moa Walling, DHO and Project Director, ATMA, where he advised the farmers to utilize the opportunity from ATMA in implementing any project in Agri and Allied sectors.
Dr. K. Mero, VAS QCP, Rengmapani, while speaking as resource person, emphasized on rabbit rearing and management, healthcare, nutrition, disease control and sexing along with practical demonstration.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by chairman, FM, SPBF, Dr. Lanu Jamir, while vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Kinalo Kath, VAS, Chare.
About 221 rabbit farmers attended the training.
