NGSSEWA meet Dimapur: Nagaland Government Servant Senior Employee Welfare Association (NGSSEWA) has convened a general meeting on July 15 at 11am in the zonal council Kohima to discuss superannuation bill passed by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on July 10, the number of government employees likely to be effected by the recent bill, membership fees and responsibilities to be attributed. The heads of departments based in Kohima and all district representative of various departments have been requested to attend the meeting. ANCSF meet DIMAPUR: Nagaland Cooperative Societies Federation (ANCSF) has convened a general meeting on July 15 at 10 am in ANCSF office, PWD junction, Kohima. ANCSF has requested all members and district presidents and general secretaries to attend the meeting. SKK union assembly DIMAPUR: All Sumi Students Union (SKK) has convened its first assembly at SKK conference hall, Zunheboto on July 16, 10.30 am. The unit president, representative, tribunals and senior leaders of SKK have been requested to attend the assembly. Western Sumi Hoho meet DIMAPUR: Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has convened an emergency executive meeting on July 15 at its office, Chekiye village at 10 am to deliberate on various vital issues faced by the Hoho. All executive council members, advisory board members and all presidents and general secretaries of the frontal organizations, the western sumi kukami hoho, western sumi Totimi hoho, the sumi officers union Dimapur, western sumi youth front, western sumi sports association and western sumi students union have been requested to attend the meeting. KYSO freshers’ meet KOHIMA: Khezhakeno Youth and Students’ Organization (KYSO) has organized a freshers’ meet on August 8 at state Academy hall, Kohima with Z. Lohe, advisor to chief minister, as the chief guest. The organization has requested those incharge of collecting membership fees to submit their collection to any of the office bearers before July 20. The KYSO has further felicitated Neitelo Koza and Vetshulo Koza on being selected in civil engineering and electronics and communication engineering respectively through the JEE 2009. It also congratulated all successful candidates of degree examination and wished them a bright future. HBI alumni meet DIMAPUR: HBI alumni of Nagaland would hold a meeting with the college official from Chennai on July 23 at 4pm at Indigenous Cultural Society, City Tower Junction, Dimapur. All alumni members of Nagaland have been requested to attend the meeting positively. HBI DRTC seminar DIMAPUR: An ecumenical seminar on “Growing a Great Commission Church” would be organized by Hindustan Bible Institute Dimapur Regional Training Centre (HBI DRTC) on July 24 from 9 am at Indigenous Cultural Society, City Tower Junction, Dimapur. According to a press release issued by centre in-charge, HBI DRTC, Mhonbemo Patton, the seminar is being organized to envision denominational leaders, mission directors and pastors of various Churches to create impact for the growth of Church ministries. Angami Students’ Union assembly DIMAPUR: Angami Students’ Union (ASU) assembly would be held on July 18 at 10 am at ASU premises. All affiliated unit presidents and subordinate bodies of the ASU have been requested to attend the assembly. The union has informed that any proposed agendas to be deliberated should be forwarded through the concerned unit to the assembly section of ASU, 48 hours before the commencement of the assembly. NCRC Sümi youth silver jubilee board meet DIMAPUR: NCRC Sümi Youth Fellowship has convened a meeting on July 18 at 10 am at the residence of its banker, Kuhoi Zhimo, member Dimapur Municipal Council. All the Jubilee board members, office bearers and advisors have been requested to attend the meeting. The office bearers would also visit Vihokhü Church after the meeting. LCCW sales day and prayer service DIMAPUR: Longsa Catholic Church Wokha (LCCW) would organize sales day (vegetables) at Dimapur and Kohima on July 14 and 15 respectively while also would observe a prayer day for government employees of the village and Lotha Catholic government servant serving at Wokha on July 19 at Longsa Catholic Church at 10.30 am. According to a press release issued by convener of the programme committee, Khothungo Dominic, the prayer day would be observed in order thank the loyal service towards the Church communities and society in general for which it invited well-wishers to participate in the programme. DC Mon informs DIMAPUR: DC Mon in connection with the direction of ministry of home affairs, New Delhi and Commissioner Nagaland, according to an official bulletin has informed all the civilians of Mon district to abstain from using the service uniforms of Army, Air force, Navy or any other Armed force of the union or Police or any other dress having the appearance of or bearing any of the distinctive marks of the Armed force uniform by the civil or private organizations with immediate effect.
