DIMAPUR: Meeting of Chishilimi Students’ Union (CSU) has been convened on July 18 at 10 am at the residence of Er. Kasho Chishi, planning board chairman, Electrical Colony Kohima, to deliberate on its forthcoming golden jubilee celebration in 2010. All planning board members and office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting.

KLOU coordination meeting
KOHIMA: A coordination meeting of Kohima Lotha Officers’ Union (KLOU), retired officers and elected legislative members has been convened on July 17 at 5 pm at Red Cross Building, Kohima. KLOU informed that no personal invitation would be sent and therefore requested all members to attend the meeting.
CTSU cautions irregular employees
KOHIMA: In a surprise checking conducted in all government offices under Chare town on July 8 and 9 to ascertain proper functioning of the offices and regularity of employees, the Chare Town Students’ Union (CTSU) found out that some employees were absent in their duties without genuine reasons. In this connection, union has cautioned that strict action would be taken against the defaulters.
ENGOA executive session
KOHIMA: Special executive session of Eastern Nagaland Gazetted Officers’ Association (ENGOA) has been convened on July 24 at DUDA guest house Kohima. The ENGOA has informed all its officers based in Kohima and Dimapur to attend the session. The association has also requested joint secretaries of Kohima and Dimapur to submit list of officers in their jurisdiction along with name and designation before the session.
Beat, Solo competition in Mokokchung
MOKOKCHUNG: Mokokchung District Art & Culture Council would be organizing open Mokokchung District Beat and Solo competition under the aegis of Music Task Force on July 31 and August 1 at the road show organized by the Government of Nagaland. Interested bands and soloists have been requested to fill up the necessary forms available at IT Basic Enterprise (FAC Bus Stand). The last date of for submission would be July 29 at 2pm. ‘Music Fest XVII’
MOKOKCHUNG: Music Fest XVII on the theme “One Way Jesus” organized by MTBA Youth Department would be held on July 16 and 17 at Mokokchung Town Baptist Church from 5 pm onwards. The fest would feature guest artist ‘Power Faith’ from Kohima. All music enthusiasts have been invited to witness the musical extravaganza.
Zunheboto HoDs meeting for I-Day
DIMAPUR: A meeting at DC’s conference hall Zunheboto has been convened on July 23 from 11 am to chalk out the programme for Independence Day celebration at Zunheboto. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Phuhton Konyak requested all HoDs of Zunheboto to attend the meeting.
