Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has resented against the Angami Public Organization (APO) for disturbing the 12 hour bandh called by Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on July 10 in Kohima town in regard to Government’s failure to comply with the ‘Charter of Demand’ and swapping of answer script scam.
DNSU in a press release issued jointly by its president, Medovoi Medeo, and general secretary, K. Mhachio Lotha, opined that the bandh was called for the welfare of younger generation and the students’ community in tackling the menace of corruption.
Acknowledging the standing resolution of the APO in Kohima, the DNSU said it wondered how they (APO) remained elusive when the NSF was taking all efforts in tackling all sort of corruption and malpractices in Naga society at the same time appealed every section of the society to support the NSF’s demand in bringing justice to the society.
Meanwhile, the union has reaffirmed that it shall stand against all odds evil practices that hampers the fabric of Naga society and would delve under any circumstances in bringing justice to the society.
It also assured its unflinching support to NSF in its fight against corruption and money power and further reminded the State government to accede to the demand of NSF so as to avoid more anomalies and confusion in Naga society.
