The four day Mahanaim Camp concluded Saturday here at Living Word Fellowship.
The organizers of the camp who facilitated aspects on spiritual development and Christian discipleship to the campers expressed satisfaction that the camp concluded in a fruitful way as most of the campers learnt how to glorify God.
The main ministry time of healing started from the topic on ‘addiction’ by Moa.
Active worship leader Alo was an inspiring factor and follow up was presented by Principal of Servanthood Bible College Tsuknung with “sin and repentance” which was the longest session that lasted five and half hours. Personal counseling was done by Core committee team members Astü and Kevi. Dr. Kahuka also talked on HIV and AIDS awareness and loving people who are infected with AIDS.
The camp was balanced with fun and entertainment in the evening of the last day. One of the campers, Sato expressed that he had attended the camp to learn about using scriptural skits and Arts and performance. Hemmo, a student from AG high school wanted to experience God more. Michael, another camper, said he just wanted to be a better person and learning about HIV and AIDS and addiction was something he had gained. Kika, another young man said he attended the camp because he wanted to know more about God with the music and worship touching him.
Sentinaro a NIIT diploma student felt she needed spiritual strengthening and learned to glorify God. Dina, a student also expressed her desire to be a missionary while Kekhriesinou found the sessions on repentance and addictions a great difference in her life.
The Core committee members said the difference they saw in the campers were their outward expression. The camp was held under the theme ‘Covenant with God’ with more than thirty youths including several from various colleges and schools in and around Dimapur as campers.
Mahanaim campers were imparted with biblical insights into various aspects of everyday life including practical sessions.
