Communitisation prog held for leaders at Chetheba, Chozuba and Sekrezu

Three sessions for public leaders of Chetheba, Chozuba and Sekrezu was conducted on August 11. Public leaders including VCC, VDB, Pastors, GB, Youth Organization, VCM, Women Leaders, Students’ Union, Youth Director and NGOs attended the sessions. Public leaders also have decided to organize seminar on family planning, mass cleanliness drive, to construct a new kitchen for sub-center and assist financial and man power whenever required for overall development in health sector. During the session resource person included Dr. Neisakho, DST, Nodal Officer, Mhonchan Tungoe Media Officer, Tarep, Deputy MIEO, Radila, PHN, on communitization, Maternal Health, Immunization. Dr. Neisakho, District Sensitisation Team, nodal officer appraised the public leaders for their hard work and noble service rendered for the Community specially in health sector, and added that communitisation in Nagaland was launched in 2002, with a concept of joint partnership between the community and Government, to re-vitalize and utilize community spirit in action to get people programme and movement, responsibility sharing in matters of health, for all round development and well being. Public leaders assured to promote and construct better building for health centre, to provide more medicine and financial assistance based on population and also to provide adequate manpower in health center for effective service to the people. The Programme was also attended by officials and dignitaries like Mudongoi, EAC, Chetheba, Machi swuro, Town Council Chairman. Further, District Sensitisation Team has expressed gratitude to M.O Chetheba, Chozuba, Sekrezu for taking the initiative and mobilizing the public leaders throughout the session. The Programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Tietho, M.O. Chetheba.
